Chartway Federal Credit Union Offering Scholarships

CaptureVirginia Beach, VA � Chartway Federal Credit Union and its divisions of HeritageWest and SouthWest Community, is excited to announce that it is now accepting applications for its 2016 Directors Memorial Scholarship program. The credit union and its divisions will award seven student members with $3,000 scholarships, totaling $21,000 in academic aid. The credit unions program annually awards scholarships to deserving student members pursuing graduate or undergraduate degrees, or those returning to complete their degrees at a college or graduate school. Recipients are selected on the basis of need, activities, academic performance, an essay, and letter of reference. Interested applicants have until March 31, 2016, to submit an electronic application, located at www.chartway.com/scholarships, www.heritagewestcu.com/scholarships, and www.southwestfederal.com/scholarships.
