Glendora, CA, Just in time for Valentines Day, Americas Christian Credit Union (ACCU) is excited to host its 2
nd annual pet adoption event, "Pause for Paws", on Saturday, February 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the credit union headquarters in Glendora.
ACCUs inaugural Pause for Paws event in 2015 was a huge success, resulting in nearly 20 pet adoptions of dogs, cats and even bunnies by bringing together representatives from over a dozen shelters, rescues and retail vendors.
This years event promises to be even bigger and better than in 2015. Among the participating vendors and sponsors this year will be All Paws Rescue, The Crazy Dog Ladies, Inland Valley Humane Society, Petography Pro, Rescue Works, Hand In Paw, Alosta Animal Hospital, Critter Sitters, Lucky Cat Rescue, Highlander Pet Center, ACS Bark for Life, Home Care Vet, Upland Animal Shelter, and Stellas Hope.
Mendell Thompson, ACCUs President/CEO, explained, "We were overjoyed and gratified by the communitys response to this event last year, and we look forward to renewing and sustaining Pause for Paws as one of ACCUs numerous annual Glendora traditions. We look forward to putting the spotlight on our furry friends and bringing the community together once again this year."
This event is free of charge to the public -- ACCU members and non-members alike. Guests are invited and encouraged to take home a new four-legged family member, and/or bring their own furry friend to the event for some Valentines-themed fun and a photo with their pet.
