January 21, 2016
RAPID CITY, S.D. In a tremendous act of generosity, Black Hills Federal Credit Union employees pledged an amazing $7,741.00 to the United Way of the Black Hills in 2015.
The money will benefit the United Ways goal to bring Black Hills area people and communities together to advance the common good and address our communities most pressing needs.
"United Way plays an important part in solving many of the problems our communities face," said Tara Wilson, Black Hills Federal Credit Unions United Way Project Chair. "Our donations benefit 52 local non-profits that support health and human service needs in our community. Its truly amazing to see BHFCUs employees rally behind this cause each and every year."
The United Way campaign is just one of the many projects conducted by BHFCUs employee-led Community Action Team. The team provides support for community projects, charities, and events throughout the year through various fundraising and volunteer efforts. Visit our website to learn more.
