St. Anne's Credit Union Supports Wreaths Across America
December 16, 2015
FALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS, - St. Annes Credit Union recently held a casual day for a cause to benefit Wreaths Across America. Wreaths Across America operates in over 900 locations nationwide, coordinating wreath laying ceremonies on the second Saturday of December at veterans cemeteries and memorials in all 50 states and many national veteran cemeteries on foreign soil. Wreaths Across Americas mission is to "Remember, Honor and Teach" about the service and sacrifice of our veterans and their families, and to make sure that they are never forgotten. This important organization was brought to the Credit Unions attention by St. Annes Somerset Branch Manager Darlene Sampson, who has volunteered in the past to lay wreaths at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne and is shown in the picture laying a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery, where she volunteered her time this year. In 2015, St. Annes employees raised enough for 44 wreaths to be donated.
