Southern California Credit Unions Support Children's Hospital of Orange County

Eighteen Southern California credit unions and four credit union affiliate organizations participated in the 25th Annual CHOC Walk in the Park on Oct. 11, 2015, raising more than $139,000 for Childrens Hospital of Orange County (CHOC Childrens).
This was the third year credit unions from Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties came together to walk and fundraise for CHOC as the "Credit Unions for CHOC Team".�This year, more than 1,200 walkers from the various credit unions and affiliate organizations took part. Ontario, CA-based CU Direct was the team sponsor and provided light blue team T-shirts.
The teams together raised more than $130,000, with the additional $10,000 coming from Rancho Cucamonga, CA-based CO-OP Financial Services and its Miracle Match program. The top fundraising teams were Orange Countys Credit Union in Santa Ana with more than $31,000, Credit Union of Southern California in Anaheim Hills with more than $22,000, followed by Eagle Community Credit Union (Lake Forest), SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union (Santa Ana), and Financial Partners Credit Union (Downey) all raising more than $10,000 as individual teams.
This years participating credit unions and organizations were: Autoland, CalCom Federal Credit Union, Camino Federal Credit Union, CU Direct, Credit Union of Southern California, CUNA Mutual, Downey Federal Credit Union, Eagle Community Credit Union, FedONE Federal Credit Union, Financial Partners Credit Union, Health Associates Credit Union (Orange), Kinecta Federal Credit Union, LA Healthcare Federal Credit Union, LBS Financial Credit Union, Mattel Federal Credit Union, Nikkei Credit Union, NuVision Federal Credit Union, Orange Countys Credit Union, Post City Financial Credit Union, SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union, Wescom Credit Union, and Xpress Data, Inc.
