minuteman1Rapid City, SD - Minuteman Federal Credit Union recently made a $150.00 donation to the South Dakota Masonic CHIP Program. Credit Union staff volunteered on a Sunday to work the Pumpkin Festival at Main Street Market in Rapid City and all tips that were received were donated to the cause. The SD Child Identification Program (SDCHIP) addresses the alarming fact that over 1,000,000 children are reported missing in the United States each year. According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, on average in the United States,a child is reported missing every 43 seconds. The SD Masonic CHIP Kit is the most comprehensive service of its kind anywhere. SDCHIP is provided at no charge to the public and all of the identifying items generated during SDCHIP are given to the childs family. The Masons of South Dakota bring this wonderful program to the families of South Dakota, and Minuteman FCU is proud to support the effort for protection of children!
