Service Credit Union Supports Local Food Pantries

FoodBank1PORTSMOUTH, N.H. - �The 10th Annual Service Credit Union Food to Families Food Drive to benefit local New Hampshire Food Pantries began earlier this month and concluded right before Thanksgiving. Members and nonmembers dropped off their non-perishable items into any food donation boxes at a local Service Credit Union branch location during regular business hours. Service Credit Unions food donation was collected by the New Hampshire Food Bank at the credit unions Corporate Offices in Portsmouth, and then will be distributed to local, community-based food pantries that are located near its state branches. "Our annual food drive is an important Service Credit Union holiday tradition, which reflects the credit union philosophy of 'People Helping People,' " says Gordon Simmons, President/CEO of Service Credit Union.
