NuVision Federal Credit Union Recognized for 80 Years of Community Support

CaptureHUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. � NuVision Federal Credit Union today announced that the credit union and its Chief Executive Officer, Roger Ballard, have been honored as part of the official Congressional Record by U.S. Congresswoman Mimi Walters. On the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives, Congresswoman Walters recognized NuVision for 80 years of providing outstanding service to its members, and for the organizations philanthropic support of the communities in which it operates. She also recognized NuVisions long-time CEO, Roger Ballard, for providing exemplary leadership of the credit union since 2004. Congresswoman Walters remarks became a part of the Congressional Record, the official record of the proceedings and debates of the United States Congress. Ballard accepted the recognition on behalf of NuVison Federal Credit Union at a ceremony at the Congresswomans office in Irvine last month. "I accept this tremendous honor on behalf of the outstanding employees at NuVision who bring a member-centric focus to their work everyday," said Ballard. "I believe our longevity and strength as a financial institution stems from our steadfast commitment to our members and our communities. It is a focus that has not waivered since NuVisions founding 80 years ago." Congresswoman Walters is currently serving her first term as the U.S. Representative for Californias 45th congressional district. She was previously a member of the California State Senate from 2008 to 2015, and a member of the California State Assembly from 2004 to 2008.
