AMOCO Federal Credit Union Donates 450 toys to Toys for Tots! �
For the fourth consecutive year, AMOCO Federal Credit Union (Texas City, TX) employees, volunteers, and members generously donated new, unwrapped toys to Toys for Tots Galveston County. This year, the credit union collected 450 toys that were distributed to local charities! �In part to AMOCOs effort, and hard-working elves known as U.S. Marines, Christmas morning was filled with smiles.
As part of their commitment to give back, AMOCO Federal Credit Union accepted toy donations at their six branch locations during the months of November and December. �In addition, they also advertised their partnership with Toys for Tots and asked the community to get involved by including information in their monthly electronic newsletter, on their website and Facebook page, as well as utilizing other channels of communication. �The credit union is proud to have once again been a corporate sponsor for Toys for Tots Galveston County and in 2011, AMOCO received The United States Marine Corps Reserve Commanders Award for outstanding support of the Toys for Tots Program.
