Altura Credit Union Sponsors Leadership Classes for Latino Youth

Riverside, Calif. �� More than two dozen juniors and seniors from local high schools recently attended the Riverside Latino Networks Youth Leadership Classes, which were sponsored by Altura Credit Union.
The annual six-week class is designed to give young Latino men and women the tools to become leaders in their own communities. Through the program, the students learn about their culture, history and society directly from accomplished members of the community. Among the presenters are those working in the criminal justice system, education, government, law enforcement and non-profit groups.
