Peach State FCU Donates $500 to Local Boys and Girls Club

CaptureLAWRENCEVILLE, GA � Peach State FCU donated $500 to the Boys and Girls Club of Jackson County following the Northeast Georgia Chapter of Credit Unions annual charity golf tournament. The tournament earned more than $14,000 this year, benefitting 11 organizations throughout the Northeast Georgia area. "Donations like this one from Peach State directly benefit our area youth by providing them with after school activities and a place to do anything, from their homework to finding a lifetime mentor," said Michael Williams, Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Jackson County. "Peach State strives to fully embody the credit union philosophy of People Helping People and donations like these set an example for the youth of the communities that we serve.
