Georgia United Credit Union Launches Wish Tree Program

CaptureDuluth, GA -�Georgia United Credit Union is holding its 26th annual Wish Tree program to collect new toys and articles of clothing for deserving foster children with local Departments of Family & Childrens Services or other charitable organizations. Georgia United invites any interested individuals, schools, or civic groups, to participate by dropping off a gift at any of the 18 Georgia United Branch locations from November 12 December 14 so deliveries can be made to DFCS prior to the week of Christmas. The Christmas Wish Tree Program is Georgia Uniteds longest running community service project with an estimated 15,000 gifts donated to deserving children throughout the program. Debbie Smith, Georgia Uniteds President & CEO, commented, "Georgia United has always been involved in the communities we serve across the state. This will be our 26th year supporting deserving children through our annual Wish Tree program.� We invite our members, local schools and civic groups to support this program by donating new, unwrapped toys or clothing at any Georgia United branch prior to December 12.
