Kern Schools Federal Credit Union of Bakersfield, CA recently participated in the Children's Miracle Network's Miracle Balloon and Miracle Jeans Day campaigns.� The campaigns raised funds for children's services at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, a Children's Miracle Network Hospital that provides treatment to children who are suffering from both common afflictions as well as life threatening illnesses.
The credit union accepted donations of $1.00 or more from members, who were then able to place a name on a Miracle balloon for display in the credit union.� The credit union employees also showed support by participating in Miracle Jeans Day, which allowed individuals to wear jeans to work for a donation of $5.00
Because of these efforts, Kern Schools FCU was able to present a check for $5,430.90 to the Children's Miracle Network.
