Dow Chemical Employees' Credit Union Raises $1,800 for Cancer Services

CaptureMIDLAND, MICHIGAN, Dow Chemical Employees Credit Union recently raised nearly $1,800 for Cancer Services of Midland through its fifth annual "Pink Out" silent auction and bake sale. DCECUs management team donated 30 brand-new items for the auction, including a Coach purse, gift cards, home d�cor items, quilts, jewelry, yoga equipment, pottery, furniture, homemade maple syrup and more. "The fact that we continue to see such high participation in the Pink Out through item contributions and bidding year after year speaks volumes about our employees commitment to the community," said DCECU President/CEO Dennis Hanson. "I couldnt be prouder of our employees for stepping up to organize and contribute to this event and others at the credit union throughout the year." The Pink Out is just one aspect of the credit unions year-round commitment to supporting local charities and community organizations. Other recent fundraisers have included "Jeans Day for Charity" events in support of Midland Senior Services, the Humane Society of Midland County, Shelterhouse and United Way of Midland County.
