Feitor CU Heroes(Somerville, MA) Naveo Credit Union Board Member, John C. Feitor, was awarded a 2015 Credit Union Hero award by The Warren Group and Banker & Tradesman.� The annual award honors the achievements, commitment and dedication of financial professionals who go above and beyond for their institution and community. Feitor was one of ten individuals bestowed with the award on September 29 at the Courtyard Marriot in Boston. Feitor was nominated by Bankers & Trademan for being a respected industry professional who made a significant impact on those around him, making outstanding contributions to Naveo, having a positive influence on his peers and for consistently giving back to the community. Hard work and volunteerism are noted as the hallmarks of Feitors life. Feitor has been a member of the board for 33 years and currently serves as 2nd Vice Chair. During his tenure, he has served the board in in various capacities, including Chair of the Credit Committee, Chair of Personnel Committee, Chair of the ALCO Committee, Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Board for six consecutives years. Mr. Feitor is a very well known community leader and has served as a volunteer at several community organizations including the Filarmonica de Santo Antonio and Saint Anthonys Parish, Cambridge. Mr. Feitor is a strong believer in education and staying true to your roots. "We congratulate John C.
