Vantage West Credit Union, southern Arizonas largest credit union, has been named Community Partner of the Year by Junior Achievement of Arizona.� Vantage West was honored for its commitment to Junior Achievement at a recognition banquet on Oct. 14.
Vantage West has a long-standing relationship with Junior Achievement programs in the Tucson area. The credit unions outreach efforts with Junior Achievement reinforce Vantage Wests commitment to supporting financial readiness among its members and promoting financial responsibility among youth.
"We truly value our involvement with Junior Achievement of Arizona. As a financial institution, we feel it is our responsibility to help prepare todays youth for a fiscally-sound future," Robert D. Ramirez, president and CEO of Vantage West, said. "The importance of financial readiness cannot be underscored enough, and were grateful we have a chance to support an organization like Junior Achievement that contributes to the personal growth of Tucsons young people."
Vantage West staff members regularly support Junior Achievement fundraisers and serve as advisors to the Junior Achievement board.
