St. Anne's Credit Union Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month

LDD 2015 Dmth   FALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS, - St. Annes Credit Unions employees once again supported the start of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October by participating in the nationwide fundraiser "Lee National Denim Day".� Employees donated $5 or more to the American Cancer Society and received a pink ribbon that they wore with their denim and pink shirts on Friday, October 2nd.� Since it first began in 1996, participants in "Lee National Denim Day" have raised more than $93 million for the fight against breast cancer.� St. Annes Credit Union takes part in "Lee National Denim Day" every year, and encourages their employees to decorate their branches and departments, and to take a photo of their group "Thinking Pink" to support and raise awareness for the cause.� This year employees raised nearly $500 for the American Cancer Society and three branches, the Dartmouth branch, the Fairhaven branch, and the South End (Fall River) branch all went above and beyond decorating their branches and bringing attention to this amazing cause.
