downloadMinot, ND - In September Prairie Federal Credit Union raised funds for Tough Enough to Wear Pink. They had a live remote broadcast with their local radio station on Friday, September 18th with a lunch and the opportunity to buy raffle tickets. A raffle was also held in their lobby for 2 weeks in September. Raffle tickets were a $1.00 each and there were many wonderful prizes. Over $2,000 was raised during those two weeks! All prizes were donated by credit union members or local area businesses. The funds raised are going to the local hospital cancer exercise rehabilitation program, which is a 6 to 8 week exercise program that is specifically designed to help patients recover from the effects of chemo and radiation. It is not covered by insurance so the money pays for the exercise program.
