Credit Union ONE Supports Diabetes Fundraising

CaptureFerndale, Michigan Credit Union ONE was proud to participate in the Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes on September 12, 2015 at the Detroit Zoo. The annual event, which is hosted in 95 cities nationwide, is the American Diabetes Associations signature fundraising walk. More than 60 CUONE employees and their friends and families contributed $4,000 in combined corporate and individual donations. The CUONE team joined 2,100 total walkers and volunteers at the zoo to raise more than $435,000. Funds will directly support research and programs helping more than 25 million Americans currently living with diabetes. "Contributing to the American Diabetes Association is an excellent way for us to help both the community and our partners in the healthcare industry," John Kozich, Vice President of Community Relations for Credit Union ONE said. "Its a cause that touches so many of us in one way or another and our team was happy to have the opportunity to show our support."
