Altura Credit Union Donates $5,000 to Animal Welfare Organization

Altura Animal DonationRiverside, Calif. Loving All Animals, a non-profit animal welfare organization in Palm Desert, recently received a $5,000 donation from Altura Credit Union as part of its #AlturaCares campaign.� Launched in 2015, this community-oriented promotion involves Alturas members in selecting and raising funds for four locally based non-profit organizations. Every time an Altura member made a purchase with theirAltura Visa� Credit Card or Debit Card during the promotion period, a portion of each sale was set aside for Loving All Animals, up to $5,000. #AlturaCares worked closely with Altura members to identify four local charitable causes for this program in 2015. Loving All Animals volunteer and Altura Member Milissa Meyer brought the organization to Alturas attention. An Altura Member since 2004, Meyer appeared in the credit unions campaign, "The Cards that Show You Care," which included TV, outdoor and newspaper ads. "Loving All Animals is an amazing facility that is a both shelter and pet adoption center," said Tina Covington, vice president, Sales and Business Development, Altura Credit Union. "The animals they take in get the care they desperately need and hopefully a home to call their own. Established in 2008, Loving All Animals reports that it has rescued and rehomed more than 400 dogs, cats and birds, and facilitated over 1,500 adoptions through community partnerships and its annual Loving All Animals Super Pet Adoption Festival. �More information on Loving All Animals can be found at www.lovingallanimals.org.
