Community Resource FCU Helps Provide School Supplies and Lunch for Less Fortunate

CaptureAlbany, NY -�Community Resource Federal Credit Union Joins Forces with�Interfaith Partner for the Homeless, The Albany Devils and The Spotlight Newspaper�to provide Lunch and School Supplies to the Less Fortunate According to the U.S. Census, between 2000 and 2010 the percentage of children living in poverty has increased by nearly a third. As school approaches, Community Resource Federal Credit Union realizes how critical a role they play in giving disadvantaged kids the basics they need to succeed in academics. For over four years, CRFCU has donated backpacks to less fortunate children who participate in the Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless Summer Youth Program. �This year due to business partnerships, members of The Albany Devils, Meteorologist Chris Silveri and The Spotlight have all committed to making this important event a success.
