United Federal Credit Union Manager Serves RAVE Family Foundation

John Nichols hi resRENO, Nev. United Federal Credit Union (UFCU) Branch Manager John Nichols has been named to the board of directors of the Northern Nevada RAVE Family Foundation. RAVE provides respite to families caring for children with special needs, and trains high school volunteers to work with the children. "It is an honor to be selected to serve on the board of such an essential organization," said Nichols. "RAVEs contributions to families with special needs members are innumerable, and its mission to improve the well-being of families aligns perfectly with the mission of United Federal Credit Union." Nichols helped lead the 2014 Leadership Reno-Sparks project that worked to secure funds for Good Shepherds Clothes Closet (GSCC) mobile unit, which enables GSCC to provide clothing and personal items to individuals and families who are unable to travel to Good Shepherds downtown location. Nichols has managed the UFCU branch located at 10705 Double R Boulevard, Reno, since 2013. His background includes bank management, personal banking, real estate sales, and marketing positions.
