Northland Area Federal Credit Union Raises Over $17,000 for American Cancer Society

Oscoda, MI - Northland Area Federal Credit Union is pleased to report that its Relay for Life teams were able to raise $17,538.09 for the American Cancer Society during this Relay season. The credit union is grateful for the generosity of both its hard working staff and community members, who bought sale items, made donations, and came to NAFCUs events to show their support.� Each of Northlands 14 branches was engaged in fundraising for this worthy cause.
Branch staff combined efforts to form six teams throughout Northlands 10 county field of membership. With fundraising ideas that included popcorn sales, tote bag, pin, paper, and button sales, hot dog and taco lunches, various bake sales, cookbook sales, yard sales, bottle collections, pancake breakfast partnerships and more. A number of Northland teams were recognized for outstanding participation in their local events as well.
