Vantage West Credit Union Donates $10,000 to United Way

Vantage West Credit Union recently donated $10,000 to United Way. �Vantage West president and CEO Robert D. Ramirez is the United Way Community Campaign Chairman for 2015-16, and as such the company has already kicked off its internal fundraising efforts.

The last Friday of every month, employees donate money and in exchange are allowed to wear jeans for the day. �Last month, they raised $1,200 for the cause with this one day. �The company is holding 50/50 raffles at its quarterly employee meetings, auctioning off covered parking spaces, and it has placed orange collection buckets at its branches for the general public to contribute change to United Way.
