CaptureDiamond Credit Union Awards Five Local Students with Alfred A. Panfile Memorial Scholarships
Pottstown, PA - The Diamond Credit Union Alfred A. Panfile Memorial Scholarship has been a tradition at Diamond Credit Union for over 10 years, but in 2015 the program was changed to reflect Diamonds active role in this community. The credit union reached out directly to 5 local schools, one for each of our branches. Diamond provided the criteria for the scholarship and asked school officials to determine who best fulfilled the example set by Alfred A. Panfile to win one of five $1,000 scholarships.
The 2015 Alfred A. Panfile Memorial Scholarship recipients are: Boyertown High School graduate, Megan Rosenberger, will be attending the University of Pittsburgh; Exeter High School graduate, Heather Gorman, will be attending the University of Pittsburgh; Pottstown High School graduate, Eliana Arroyo-Dech, will be attending York College of Pennsylvania; Wilson High School graduate, Ian Roth, will be attending Eastern University; and Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences student, Shirley Dominick, who will be using her award to help pay her nursing program tuition.
