Hanscom FCU Supports Local Patriot Guard

CaptureHanscom AFB, Mass. Hanscom FCU sponsored the Patriot Honor Guards 2015 Appreciation Banquet. The Guard, headquartered on Hanscom AFB, provides military funeral honors for Air Force veteran in New England and parts of New York. "We are extremely proud to support the Guard, year after year," said Hanscom FCU Chairman of the Board Paul Marotta. "They do whatever it takes to give an Air Force man or woman the farewell they deserve." The Honor Guard covers a 75,000 square mile service area. A blend of full and part-time members and volunteers makes sure any service veteran can receive funeral honors. Top performers are recognized each year at the banquet. As in past years, the banquet theme was the Greek Praetorian Guardsmen, an elite force that protected Roman Emperors.
