City & County Credit Union Hosts Food Drive

downloadSt. Paul, MN � City & County Credit Union hosted a food drive for Second Harvest Heartland during their Shred it Days event. Over the course of three days, members and staff collectively raised 1,379 pounds of food and $288.58, equivalent to 2,015 meals. "We work relentlessly to not only improve our members financial lives, but also the communities in which we serve." Megan Primeau, VP of Marketing, explained. "Proactively combining our annual Shred Event with a Food Drive to support Second Harvest Heartland is just one of the many ways City & County Credit Union stays true to our People Helping People philosophy." Second Harvest Heartland is one of the nations largest, most efficient and most innovative food banks. They distribute over 89 million pounds of food annually to community partners such as food shelves, meal programs, homeless shelters, senior community centers and childrens after-school programs in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
