Commonwealth Credit Union Hosts Community Summer Movie Night

Frankfort, KY- Despite an unusually rainy Summer and having to cancel our two Georgetown Movie Nights due to the weather, Commonwealth Credit Union hosted two successful Summer Movie Nights for the city of Frankfort. The eventful night included inflatable bounce houses for kids, a movie on a 28 foot big screen, and free popcorn for all.
Families packed the lawn at the Old Capitol Building with chairs, blankets and picnic baskets to enjoy the Warner Bros. movie Paddington during the first Movie Night. Despite the heat, an even larger crowd gathered on the second movie night, featuring Disneys Tangled. Staff enjoyed mingling with the crowd and handing out popcorn as guest enjoyed the evening.
Partners included: Liberty Mutual providing the Popcorn for our movie night events. The�Western Hills High School Dance Team provided child safety and supervision for the inflatables. Sponsors included: Georgetown, Georgetown Parks & Recreation, and the Georgetown News�Graphic, The State Journal, Frankfort Plant Board, Kentucky Historical Society and Downtown Frankfort.
