AUSTIN, Texas As a result of its fifth annual Auto Raffle for charity, the United Heritage Charity Foundation, Austin, Texas, raised $65,887. On Friday, June 26, 2015, Grady Bell from The Woodlands, Texas won a new 2015 Honda Civic LX Sedan from Howdy Honda of Austin, Texas. The $1.00 winning ticket was purchased through the United Heritage Charity Foundations website and randomly drawn at an event held at Howdy Honda.
Proceeds from the Auto Raffle benefit local charities supported by the United Heritage Charity Foundation. A total of $266,481 has been raised for charity in the first five years of the Auto Raffle.
The United Heritage Charity Foundation Chairman, May Lofgreen states, "The United Heritage Charity Foundation is appreciative and excited by the support received during the 2015 Auto Raffle. Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and contributed to the Auto Raffles continued success.
