UT Federal credit Union Helps Bring Cheer to Those Who Need it Most

CaptureKNOXVILLE, TN Knoxville Random Acts of Flowers has partnered with UT Federal Credit Union to collect hundreds vases to be re-purposed to deliver recycled flowers to people in Knoxville who wouldnt normally get flowers. "Our members not only made this vase drive possible, they made it a success," said UT Federal Credit Union CEO Debbie H. Jones. "Thanks to our members and Random Acts of Flowers, cheer will be delivered to those around Knoxville who need it the most." The Knoxville non-profit charity collect donated flowers from weddings, memorial services, florists, special events, grocery stores and churches and creates bouquets to deliver to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and hospice care centers. Staff take the freshest flowers to re-purpose for bouquets and donates wilted flowers to the Knoxville Botanical Gardens. Random Acts of Flowers said they are looking for other companies to get involved with collecting supplies for staff.
