Service Credit Union Participates in #ShowYourSalute Campaign to Support Military

Portsmouth To promote the first-ever Seacoast Salutes event, #ShowYourSalute social media campaign encourages support of the military by saluting in front of the backdrop banners at local Service Credit Union branches, Redhook Brewery, Portsmouth YMCA and various events across the Seacoast.The #ShowYourSalute campaign urges members of the community to take photos including selfies in front of the banners of themselves saluting.� Then they would post the photos to the Seacoast Salutes social media sites including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and use the hashtag #ShowYourSalute.
Service Credit Union branches participating in the #ShowYourSalute campaign are Pease International Tradeport, Somersworth, Hampton and Rochester branches. Branch staff have shown their support by posting selfies to Seacoast Salutes Facebook page.
Seacoast Salutes is a military appreciation day on Sunday, July 26th from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., to recognize and honor the brave men and women defending our freedom and our great country. General Stark sponsors are Service Credit Union, Redhook Brewery and Fosters Clambake.
The event is expected to be the largest appreciation event for military personnel and their families in New England. The all-day festival, on the grounds of Redhook Brewery, will serve as a fundraiser for the New Hampshire Air National Guards Chaplains Emergency Relief Fund and The New Hampshire Military Assistance Foundation.

Hosted by Greg Kretschmar from WHEBs Greg and the Morning Buzz, highlights of this inaugural event include live musical performances by various Seacoast bands, and a skateboard and BMX exhibition from Rye Airfield. Additionally, the festival will feature sports activities, childrens games, raffles and an all-day barbecue hosted by Fosters Clambake and Catering.
Organizers anticipate about more than 3,000 attendees. Admission is free for military and their immediate families, $10 for veterans and $15 for general admission. Advance ticket sales are available to the general public throughwww.SeacoastSalutes.com.
