Long Island, New York, - Town of Hempstead Employees Federal Credit Union staff raised $1000 for the Nassau County Burn Center Foundation through selling "Support Your Volunteer Firefighter t-shirts".
During the month of May the members were able to purchase a t-shirt where all proceeds went to the Nassau County Burn Center Foundation.
The Nassau County Fire Fighters Burn Center Foundation is a non-profit organization of firefighters founded in 1991, dedicated to the advancement of burn care, research, prevention, education and the proper treatment of burns. Their goal is to make quality burn care available to all who are seriously burned, regardless of age, race, creed or economic status.
