Tobacco Valley Teachers Federal Credit Union Supports Junior Achievement

JA Day 2015Enfield, CT - The Tobacco Valley Teachers Federal Credit Union (TVTFCU) recently took part in Junior Achievement Day at the Hazardville Memorial Elementary School in Enfield, CT. Junior Achievement (JA) is an organization that focuses on making students financially responsible, prepared for the workforce and entrepreneurially savvy. Programs are delivered by volunteers from area businesses and the community, who work hand in hand with classroom teachers. During JA Day at Hazardville Memorial, Nina Chrisanthopoulos, Marketing Manager for TVTFCU engaged 1st graders in activities focusing on career options, being an entrepreneur, community businesses, financial literacy and more. "All of us at the credit union are dedicated to educating our youth so that they gain the knowledge to help them make informed decisions when they are older." said Mrs. Chrisanthopoulos.
