Capital Credit Union Donates $1,000 for Friendship Bench

Bismarck, ND - Capital Credit Union donated $1,000 to purchase a Friendship Bench at Sunrise Elementary School in Bismarck, ND. The goal of the bench is to promote friendship among the elementary students as a means to combat bullying in schools. The Friendship Bench concept was created by Acacia Woodley, a ten-year-old girl, who saw the need to promote friendship. Her goal is to have one bench in every school in the United States.
