TeamWalk for CancerCare Jeanne D'ArcLOWELL, MA On Sunday, May 30, 2015, more than 65 friends, family members and employees of Jeanne DArc Credit Union rallied together in support of Lowell General Hospitals TeamWalk for Cancer Care. TeamWalk funds help Lowell General Hospitals Cancer Care Center pay for medication, nutritional supplements, nursing visits and other services that make a significant difference in the lives of people living with all types of cancer. Through fundraising efforts and a corporate donation, the Jeanne DArc Credit Union team raised more than $5,000 for the event. "Jeanne DArc employees are committed to making a difference within our community. They are passionate about helping others and were especially excited to join forces for such an important cause," said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne DArc Credit Union. Jeanne DArc Credit Union team members reported that walking alongside friends and family was enjoyable, but knowing they were walking in support of local residents who are striving to survive cancer provided tremendous motivation.
