Credit Union raises over $80,000 for Relay for Life

Diamond Credit Union of Pottstown, Pennsylvania raised a total of $81,190.46 and was recognized three times during the Pottstown Annual Relay for Life Kick-Off Dinner.�
First, the Diamond Relay team, Diamonds Hope, ranked as the number one fundraising team in Pottstown for 2012. �Diamonds Bark For Life team, Diamonds Hope For Dogs, also received recognition as the fourth largest contributor to the 2012 Bark For Life event (A sub-event of the Relay For Life). Diamonds own, Kim Deery, Human Resources Associate, was also recognized with a Volunteer Achievement Award for her work as the Relays Banking/Accounting Chairperson, volunteering at Team and Update Meetings throughout the year, as well as at the Relay itself.
In 2012, the Relay For Life of Pottstown was the number one Relay in all of Pennsylvania, and ranked number five Relay in the world!� Diamond recently announced their 2012 Relay fundraising total of $81,190.46, contributing to a seven-year total of $415 thousand raised for the Relay For Life events in Pottstown and Berks County.
