In partnership with St. Marks Episcopal Church of Leominster, the Community Caf is held every Tuesday at the Boys & Girls Club of Leominster. Volunteers from IC Federal Credit Union welcomed families on Tuesday in transition from the community to a hot meal, some friendly conversation and a little play time for the kids. "Its not just about a hot meal," said Tony Emerson, CEO of IC, "its about giving people an opportunity to relax and enjoy an evening in a friendly and caring environment." "We would like to thank Slatterys Restaurant of Fitchburg for cooking and donating the food for our guests," added Emerson. If you would like to donate items or food, or volunteer your time, please contact St. Marks Episcopal Church at 978-537-3560. First Student Bus Company provides discounted transportation to and from the hotels to the Community Caf and is supported by donations through St. Marks.
