Hanscom Federal Credit Union Donates $1,000 to People Helping People Organization

Hanscom Federal Credit Union presented a $1,000 gift to People Helping People, a Burlington, MA organization devoted to providing assistance to residents of Burlington who have an emergency need for food, medicine, heat or utilities. The group also provides holiday food baskets and gifts for children through local charitable groups. The donation was presented in celebration of Hanscom FCUs new branch location in Burlington, at 47 Middlesex Turnpike. "We are thrilled to support People Helping People in their mission to assist Burlington residents in need," said Hanscom FCU Chairman of the Board Paul Marotta. "As a financial institution, Hanscom FCU is focused on helping our members succeed financially, Marotta continued. "People Helping People addresses even more basic needs and provides help with compassion and understanding. They are an asset to the community." Hanscom Federal Credit Union, headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts, serves 57,843 members across the country and overseas through 17 branches, over 100,000 service centers and surcharge-free ATMs, 24-hour telephone service and a web-based branch. The credit union holds over $1 billion in assets.
