Voyage Federal Credit Union kicked off their 3
rd�year of building alongside Habitat for Humanity on May 13th.� Joining them are 6 of their business partners: Avera Hospital, Orion Foods, Lewis Drug, Century Link, Volunteers of America, and Raven Industries. These seven businesses have been working together in this way for the past two years. Each month for six months Voyage and one of its partner businesses work with Habitat for Humanity to serve our community together. Molly Brown, the Marketing Coordinator and organizer for Voyage said, "One of our core principles at the credit union is concern for community and by building and supporting organizations like Habitat for Humanity we are nailing it - no pun intended."
The credit union has been very active in demonstrating their community based beliefs this year with their recent "75 Days of Giving" campaign and "75 Day Diaper Drive" earlier on in the year. Brown commented, "We are trying to give back to the community that has supported us for 75 years and Habitat is another opportunity to do this."
