Sentinel Federal Credit Union Awards $1,000 in Scholarships

BOX ELDER, S.D. Sentinel Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the recipients of our 2015 Academic Scholarships. Two graduating seniors will each receive a $500 scholarship for their academic excellence toward attending the college of their choice.
The recipients include Averill Sorensen, a 2015 graduating Douglas High School senior, Box Elder, S.D., who plans to attend Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., and Lindsey Haugh, also a 2015 graduating Douglas High School senior who plans to attend Black Hills State University in Spearfish, S.D.
Nancy Ellwein, president and CEO of Sentinel Federal Credit Union, states the Credit Union, its members and staff are proud to support and award these Academic Scholarships to graduating high school seniors and college students to help defray the expense of post-high school education. "We thank everyone who helped make this investment in our youth possible."
Sentinel Federal Credit Unions membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Custer, Lawrence, Meade, Pennington, Gregory, Lyman, Mellette, Todd and Tripp counties in South Dakota and their immediate family members. The Credit Union has been guarding and protecting the financial well-being of its members since 1955.
