Hopewell Federal Credit Union Supports Local Food Pantry

CaptureHEATH / NEWARK, OH April 24, 2015Hopewell Federal Credit Union (HFCU), once again, offered its support to the Food Pantry Network of Licking County for its Operation Feed campaign.� The members and staff collected 139 pounds of food and cash donations totaling over $600.00.�
The HFCU staff created donation drop off locations at both the Heath and Newark offices.� Special events including bake sale, pot luck, and guess the number of candy pieces in a jar were also held to increase donations.� In addition, their annual member appreciation event, The Spring Hop, invited people to support the cause with a donation of a non perishable food item. � ��
The Operation Feed Campaign generates approximately 15% of the food and 50% of the funding needed annually by the Food Pantry Network of Licking County.
