St. Anne's Credit Union Awards $500 Scholarship

IMG_0316Holy Name School students Alexis and Avery, daughters of Danielle Vital of Fall River, received a $500 scholarship from St. Annes Credit Union recently. This particular scholarship is named in honor of Albert E. Mercier, a longtime director and past chairman of the Credit Unions Board of Directors, who has devoted nearly 50 years of volunteer service to St. Annes Credit Union and its members. In addition to its annual college scholarship awards to area high school seniors, the Credit Union presents a $500 scholarship award to a Holy Name School student each year. Alexis and Avery shared the Mercier Scholarship this year. SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS: Avery and Alexis, students at Holy Name School of Fall River, stand front and center during the presentation of a $500 award from St. Annes Credit Union to their mother. The daughters shared the Credit Unions traditional $500 award to a student at the School. The scholarships are named in honor of Albert E. Mercier (not shown in picture).
