Whitefish, Mont. Park Side Credit Union recently received the Employer of Choice Award for Flathead County.�The award, from the Montana Department of Labor and Industry, is given for going above and beyond, and showcasing what is valued as exceptional businesses.
Park Side has 81 employees and has an open-door policy in every department, has monthly, all-inclusive meetings, and rallies together in efforts that benefit the community. Staff is allowed to accrue hours they volunteer at Park Side-sponsored events and use these hours for paid time off.
Park Side was named the top large business of 26 or more employees and will compete at the state level for the Montana Employer of Choice Award. Winners are based on employee benefits offered, website, and workplace culture and community orientation.
