TBA Credit Union Awards Classroom Improvement Grant to Fund 3D Printer

CaptureTraverse City, MI - As school districts continue to experience budget cuts, educators search for new and creative means to fund projects and programs in jeopardy of being eliminated. �Committed to students and the educators dedicated to their success, TBA Credit Union is proud to offer a Classroom Improvement Grant program. Applicants are selected for funding based on how many students benefit from the request, how the request relates to classroom instruction and how funding will impact the future of students.�The most recent recipient was Michael George from the TBAISD Tech Center High School. He received a $1,000 Classroom Grant that will be used to purchase a 3D printer. Students throughout the school will have access to the device to support a variety of STEM projects.
