Somerville, MA -�Naveo Credit Unions Scholarship Committee awarded four scholarships of $1,000 each to local students during their Annual Meeting. Scholarship recipients for the 2015-2016 school year were Paula Da Silva of Cambridge, Paula Ferreira of Somerville, Jonathan Lentini of Somerville and Nicole Oliveira of Malden. Scholarship recipients are anonymously selected based on financial need, scholastic merit as well as community and school involvement.
"The Carlos Faria and Victor Da Silva Memorial Scholarship is one of the many ways Naveo is supporting young members in our community with the increasing cost of higher education. Naveo continues to reinforce its commitment to the academic success of its members through this annual scholarship, which has been available for over 30 years.�We continue to be�amazed with the academic successes, community involvement and goals of our scholarship applicants.
