Catie's ClosetLOWELL, MA Jeanne DArc Credit Union is pleased to announce that it served as the Diamond Sponsor of last Saturdays Caties Closet Annual Gala. "Caties Closet serves a vital purpose in our community by providing children and teens with warm clothing and basic necessities, and by helping them to fit in with their peers," said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne DArc Credit Union. "We were proud to serve as the Diamond Sponsor of the Annual Gala." Caties Closet began as a tribute to Catie Bisson, a graduate of Lowell High School who was passionate about the power of education and who passed away at the age of 20 due to a connective tissue disorder. Her family sought to honor her memory by helping children and teens succeed in school. Anne-Marie Bisson, Caties mother, is the founder of Caties Closet and serves as Vice President-Financial Education at Jeanne DArc Credit Union. "I am overwhelmed by the continuing support that Jeanne DArc Credit Union has provided to Caties Closet," Anne-Marie Bisson said. "Our ability to sustain and grow our closets is due to the generosity of many community members, especially Jeanne DArc, not only as an organization, but also as individuals."
