voyage cops with donutsSioux Falls, SD - This year marked the 75th business anniversary for Voyage Federal Credit Union; a local financial institution offering banking services to Minnehaha and Lincoln County in South Dakota. To celebrate this milestone, Voyage has conducted various "75-day events". The first of these events was a diaper drive with the most recent keying on financial education tips. The next "75-day event" will see the credit union incorporating one of its core principles. During "75 Days of Giving" Voyage FCU will give back to the community of Sioux Falls that has given so much to others. Over the next 75 days, Voyage will be giving away time and money to worthy groups and causes. Voyage FCU will also be doing simple acts of kindnesses around the area. The credit union will be asking for recommendations from its members as well as the public at large. The premise of this event is simple; give away $75 dollars a day throughout the community over 75 days leading up to their Annual Meeting on May 19th. In the coming weeks, branch managers will be paying for and pumping gas for strangers and tellers will be dropping leashes off at local dog rescues. To make a recommendation for causes to support during "75 Days of Giving," visit www.voyagefcu.org and follow Voyage on Facebook to comment and learn more.
