Etiwanda, CA The team at Arrowhead Credit union just would not-could not miss the opportunity to honor Dr. Seuss today. When the 8:15 am bell rang, they were ready to join the students in their classrooms with their favorite books in hand. Nervous maybe, but really excited to have a little fun bringing some red fish, blue fish, the Lorax and Horton to life.
"Im not sure who smiled more, the team or the children. Dr. Seuss books are the classics that bring everyone joy and are even more fun to share with others," said Darin Woinarowicz, President/CEO at Arrowhead Credit Union.
Over a dozen volunteers from Arrowhead Credit Union visited Windrows Elementary on Read Across America Day. They read their favorite Dr. Seuss books to more than 30 classrooms with students of all grade levels.
