Vermont Federal Credit Union Awarding $8,000 in Scholarships

vermontBurlington, VT - Vermont Federal Credit Union will be awarding four $2,000 educational scholarships to students with a history of strong academic achievement and service to the community. The Credit Union is accepting scholarship applications from now until April 6, 2015. Two $2,000 scholarships will be granted to graduating high school seniors who have been accepted to an accredited undergraduate program at a college, trade school or university for the Fall of 2015 or Spring of 2016. Additionally, two $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to students already enrolled in or looking to go back to an undergraduate program at a college, trade school or university during the Fall of 2015 or Spring of 2016. All applicants are asked to write about their student and community leadership activities, unique accomplishments or special circumstances and explain why they should be selected to receive the scholarship award. The complete application and detailed instructions can be found at www.vermontfederal.org.� Recipients will be notified by June 15, 2015 and will be selected based on their academic achievements, student and community leadership activities, as well as other criteria.
