CaptureLOWELL, MA Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne DArc Credit Union, is pleased to announce the donation of three iPad Air tablets for use by Lowell High School students participating in the University of Massachusetts Lowells M2D2 "Early Pathways" program. "We are pleased to provide these hard-working Lowell High students with a tool that will assist them in advancing their academic careers," Mr. Cochran said. "We wanted to show our support in a tangible way with something they can use to aid their learning experience." The "Early Pathways" program provides 11 Lowell High School juniors and seniors with a unique learning experience wherein they are immersed in hands-on learning to develop practical skills in inventing medical devices. The Massachusetts Medical Device Development Center (M2D2) at UMass Lowell offers inventors access to world-class researchers and resources at the Lowell and Worcester campuses of the University of Massachusetts. "Early Pathways" allows students to engage in workplace, project-based learning in science, technology, engineering, and math.
